Twilight

A Poem

Twilight comes in tears,
where eyes watch for shoreline,
for pale signs passing.

They hear you still,
just beyond the window,
gleaming like a sword, hanging.

The dawn is a far way off,
heads lying in vermillion,
across the grooves of earth.
